Kay Waterproofing is a local New York waterproofing company. We’re based on East 123rd Street in Harlem, and most of our work stays close to home — Upper Manhattan, the rest of Manhattan, and nearby parts of NYC.
When you call, you reach someone who actually does the work. We come out, look at the situation, and tell you straight what we think is going on. If a building doesn’t need a full waterproofing system, we’ll say so.
The buildings we work on are mostly the kind New Yorkers know well: brownstones, walk-ups, multi-unit residential, and small commercial spaces. Old foundations, mixed materials, tight access, and weather that swings hard between wet summers and freezing winters. That’s the work we’re built for.
How we work
Every job starts with a look at the building. We talk through what you’re seeing, when it started, and what’s already been tried. Then we walk through the basement, the foundation, and any walls or exterior areas that matter.
You get a written scope and a clear price before we start. We keep the job site clean, we communicate when something changes, and we don’t leave problems half-finished.
Most of our customers come from word-of-mouth in Harlem and the surrounding neighborhoods. We try to keep it that way by doing the job right the first time.
